Add a Printer (PC)

1. Start typing “add a printer or scanner” in the Windows search bar at the bottom left corner of your screen, then select this option from the popup menu.

2. After you click on “add a printer or scanner,” it will bring up the settings menu as shown below.



3. Click “Add a printer or scanner.”

4. Click “The printer that I want isn’t listed.” This will bring up a new window.





5. As shown in the image above, paste or type the address of the printer you selected from the list below into the field under “Select a shared printer by name”.

Please take a look at the list below and select a printer.

6. Install and test the printer.
After selecting a printer click next and it should install the correct drivers, after install click next again and before clicking “Finish” make sure to click “Print a test page” to make sure everything is working properly. The printer will be added to your list of available printers back in the “Devices and Printers” window, and if you right click on it you can set it as your default printer.

*Note* To Print, you will need the Department name and a 5 digit passcode. You should have received the passcode during hiring. If you are unsure what it is, please reach out to your supervisor or Daisy Salazar.
